In Home Oriental and Area Rug Cleaning
Oriental rugs are usually made from wool. Many countries all over the world specialize in hand made rugs. The sheep are different, raised in different climates, on different diets and the dyes that each maker uses are significantly different as well. So there needs to be extreme care. That is why we have a low moisture method by hand to effectively clean them.
Step 1: Test rug for colorfast with a world famous spot remover and a towel.
Step 2: Inspect rug for any damages.
a. Visible bleeding of colors
b. Stains
c. Tears, holes, fragile areas
d. Fading or loss of color
e. Fringes that are worn, soiled or ruined
f. Pile distortion where there may be matting to one side or another.
Step 3: Vacuum rug and fringe carefully and thoroughly.
Step 4: Apply Natural for safe cleaning.
Step 5: Clean using truck mount and Powerhead using low moisture.
Step 6: Follow up by cleaning rug using the hand tool.
Step 7: The Fringes are cleaned using the hand tool.
Step 8: All oriental rugs are groomed in one direction for a beautiful look and fast drying.

Spot and Spill Procedures -
• Make sure that you clean up spots and spills immediately before they set.
• First, soak up the excess liquid by blotting with a clean absorbent material. Do not brush or rub the stain.
• Then spot-clean with a mild detergent-white vinegar-water solution. Do-not over wet.
• Rinse area thoroughly with water and a small amount of vinegar. Avoid wetting the rug's backing.
• Blot dry until most of the moisture has been absorbed.
• Allow to air dry. A fan or cool hair dryer can be used to hasten the drying process.
